The flag of Ethiopia can be confusing at times. This confusion has been caused by the political establishments in Ethiopia, that have highjacked the national flag and dressed it with their ideological symbols. The fact remains, they’ve all been oppressive to the Ethiopian people, and have left trails of human rights abuse behind them.

Emperor Haile Selassie I, was a mass murderer and an enslaver of Ethiopians. Had Selassie I been alive today, definitely he would have been taken to the ICC to answer Crimes of genocide and slavery.
